The alleged case of sexual abuse of minors returned to sticking out in Bekasi City. A grandfather with the initials Hospital, who works as a driver of the Advent 14 Elementary School shuttle, Margahayu Village, East Bekasi District, is alleged to have repeatedly molested a grade 1 student with the initials RPN (7).
The hospital's depraved act was first reported by the victim's family to the Bekasi City Metro Police with a report number: LP/B/1808/X/2024/SPKT/Bekasi Metro City Police/Metro Jaya Police on October 9, 2024 with accusations of criminal acts of violence against children. Furthermore, the second report with report number: STTLP/B/345/II/2025/SPKT/Bekasi City Metro Police/Metro Jaya Regional Police was again filed on February 17, 2025 with alleged crime of sexual abuse.
Secretary General of the DPP NGO Forkorindo, Timbul Sinaga SE, who is still a victim's family, regretted the attitude of law enforcement officials who have not yet made arrest or detention of the hospital.
"We do not know what the reason is, even though the report has been complete with evidence of the post mortem of Bekasi City Hospital. But until now the hospital is still free to roam," said Timbul, Thursday (8/28/2025).
Timbul also accused the school of being impressed to protect the hospital, even though his name was clearly tarnished by this case. According to him, the school should act decisively and do not close his eyes to the actions of unscrupulous drivers who have damaged the future of students.
"Seeing the attitude of the school that tends to defend the hospital, we ask the Mayor of Bekasi to review the operational permit of SD Advent 14. If necessary the school is dissolved," he said.
The victim's family hopes that the Bekasi City Government, the police, and the Child Protection Institute will immediately intervene, so that this case does not drag on and provide justice for victims.
